A stream of sobering Bible stories started around 2am. After a few of them, I realized it was a download and got up to write it down. It was a fearful warning of what is coming to the children of God who think they can mock our most Holy God with compromise and think they get away with it because they claim to be His children. Those who pollute their garments with the flesh will of the flesh reap destruction. Walk by the Spirit and you will reap life everlasting. Seek first the Kingdom of God AND His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.
Hebrews 10: 6 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: 29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God!
Hosea 10:12-14a says 12Sow for yourselves righteousness and reap the fruit of loving devotion; break up your unplowed ground [**of your hearts]. For it is time to seek the LORD until He comes and sends righteousness upon you like rain. 13You have plowed wickedness and reaped injustice; you have eaten the fruit of lies. Because you have trusted in your own way and in the multitude of your mighty men, 14the roar of battle will rise against your people,
Now for the Bible stories:
– Nadab and Abihu offering strange fire to the LORD. The LORD killed them.
– Dathan, the leader of the Kohathites led a rebellion against Moses. Moses interceded a few times until God said, enough, separate yourselves. The LORD killed him, his family, and everyone who associated with them by opening the ground and swallowing them.
– The Israelites complained against the LORD. The LORD killed many of them with plagues and judgments in the wilderness.
– David broke God’s commandments by taking a census of God’s people. God killed 70,000 with the Sword of the LORD.
– The LORD showed Amos the coming judgment upon His people because of her harlotry.. Amos interceded once, twice, then the LORD warned him He was dropping the plumbline. Isaac’s high places would be become desolate and Israel’s sanctuaries would be laid waste and rising against the house of Jeroboam with the sword (who offered counterfeit worship places and led God’s people into compromise and idolatry.)
– Ananias and Sapphira thought they could lie to the LORD and offer a polluted offering. The LORD killed them via Peter.
– 42 rebellious children mocked Elisha. The LORD killed them with she-bears via Elisha.
– God killed Pharaoh’s firstborn son via the Angel of the LORD
– God killed Israel’s King Ahab (Jezebel’s husband) and his 70 sons via Jehu.
– The leaders that refused to support Gideon with provision, who fought with the Sword of the LORD, were killed via Gideon and his soldiers.
– Elymas, the sorcerer, thought he could turn the deputy away from the faith and God blinded him via Paul.
– Miriam mocked Moses and God made her a leper via Moses.
– Gehazi, Elisha’s servant, deceived Naaman for his own profit and God made him a leper via Elisha.
– Uzzah touched the ark being carried on an ox cart against God’s Mosaic commandments and God killed him.
– The idolatrous gold-calf worshipers were slaughtered by the Levites when Moses came down from the mount with God’s commandments inscribed in stone and caught them in their sin.
– For the LORD will execute judgment by fire And by His sword on all flesh, And those slain by the LORD will be many. (Isaiah 66:16)
– ‘I will also bring upon you a sword which will execute vengeance for the covenant; and when you gather together into your cities, I will send pestilence among you, so that you shall be delivered into enemy hands. (Lev 26:25)
Other verses coming to memory about the children of the righteous shall not be found begging for bread. Famine will not come to their house. Then a flash of the devil taunting Jesus to turn a stone into bread. Why? Because Jesus had the POWER to do so and yet still chose to walk in obedience to complete His 40 day fast!
Psalm 37 (NLT) contains that verse about children of the righteous not begging bread. It gives the promise and the warning all wrapped in one. Take heed! Watch and pray, lest ye fall into temptation.

7
Be still in the presence of the Lord,
and wait patiently for him to act.
Don’t worry about evil people who prosper
or fret about their wicked schemes.

Stop being angry!
Turn from your rage!
Do not lose your temper—
it only leads to harm.

For the wicked will be destroyed,

Soon the wicked will disappear.
Though you look for them, they will be gone.
11
The lowly will possess the land
and will live in peace and prosperity.

The wicked plot against the godly;

13
But the Lord just laughs,
for he sees their day of judgment coming.
14
The wicked draw their swords
and string their bows
to kill the poor and the oppressed,
to slaughter those who do right.

But their swords will stab their own hearts,

It is better to be godly and have little

for the Lord holds them by the hand.

Yet I have never seen the godly abandoned
or their children begging for bread.

Turn from evil and do good,
and you will live in the land forever.
28
For the Lord loves justice,
and he will never abandon the godly.
He will keep them safe forever,
but the children of the wicked will die.
29
The godly will possess the land
and will live there forever.

The godly offer good counsel;
they teach right from wrong.
31
They have made God’s law their own,
so they will never slip from his path.
32
The wicked wait in ambush for the godly,
looking for an excuse to kill them.
33
But the Lord will not let the wicked succeed
or let the godly be condemned when they are put on trial.

Travel steadily along his path.
He will honor you by giving you the land.
You will see the wicked destroyed.

flourishing like a tree in its native soil.
